I’m really hoping he comes back, I hear he’s getting better. We’re all pulling for Keith. That’s all I’m thinking about.

The bottom line is they should not be taking a chance.

This guy is really under pressure – a lot of pressure here not to go over there and he went anyway. That shows you how strong a guy he is.

They are okay now and they can play. But the bottom line is, they should not be taking this chance.

And there was no need for him to. He made it very clear before he left that if he could not play he would not play. Peter knows his body better than anyone.

I know the pressure [Forsberg] is under, but I respect his wishes. He’s a big boy. They have the Olympics, the NHL has their players in it and there’s nothing we can do about it....

He’s under tremendous pressure in Sweden, I understand that. He’s their top player. I feel bad for Peter, but if he was my son, I would tell him to just say no.

If someone walked into the room and said Keith is ready, healthy, beautiful, the doctors think it?s wonderful and he can play, everybody would be all excited around here. No one has said that.

Of course I’m concerned. I’m concerned about all our Olympians. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. We signed off on Peter once he left (on Monday). I’m just hoping he really is healthy enough to play.

I’m staying away from it. It’s a choice each player has to make for himself.

I’m sure it will be. And when it is, I’m going to be a part of it.

Peter is a veteran. He knows what’s at stake.
