Lauren has really burst on the scene in the county. I’ve been around fast-pitch softball for a long time, and I haven’t seen a freshman come in and do what she’s doing this fast.

This game is pretty much what we’ve been trying to establish all year. We kept the pressure on them most innings, and we had some timely hits to score runs.

We’re trying to mix pitches up a little more going towards the tournaments. It’s all part of a progression for Lauren.
