Near-term gasoline prices are likely to go somewhat higher. Are we going to see two bucks again? Not anytime soon.

The behavior of the consumer could change. Monday could be a high-demand day.

Right now what is going on is prices are high and they are going higher.

I think they’re a success story.

What that says is that even though crude oil prices are at near-record highs, gasoline prices are much higher than the crude oil prices would dictate.

At the end of the day, the best cure for high prices is high prices.

It’s a little early to know how bad it is; I would expect it’s bad. There’s certainly no good news out there yet.
