Everybody felt good. We wrestled well and it was pretty exciting to win.

Our kids could’ve easily rolled over and quit against a team of that caliber. But we never gave up and fought hard.

Everything clicked for us this weekend. We had a real focused tournament. Being as young as we are, we were not intimidated.

Even though it was a (junior varsity) event it was pretty tough. We started off very slow in the morning. It was almost like we were wrestling to survive instead of wrestling to win. But...

I saw a lot more try in them. I took six kids to this tournament and everybody had at least one win. It was a good event for everybody.

The kids came through with a couple upsets. They peaked at the right time.
