It’s the worst section of the Parkway East as far as pavement condition.

The steel facade was in 1975, so it’s been up for 30 years, and behind it is the original concrete from the original construction from 1919 to 1924.

Certainly, the biggest project we have under way is the second half of Interstate 79 to get the southbound lanes completed (this) year.

Understand that there’s construction work that has to take place to keep the roads in good shape and be patient to the workers and motorists around you.

If this were easy, we would have done it already. We feel [the plan] addresses the bulk of the needs in a reasonable fashion.

That should keep people moving a little better.
