Our whole season was in their hands. At that point when we were 2-3 (in region), they had to control their own destiny. Everything was in their hands.

We actually have a waiting list of teams wanting to get in. There are several more teams wanting to come if there’s ever another opening.

We’ve faced some good pitchers, but some guys have also been pressing and putting too much pressure on themselves. We finally had a good day at the plate.

We’re facing state-playoff caliber teams. So, it gives our kids a chance to see the kinds of teams you can expect to see in the state tournament.

This is how it’s been. We’ve always had to do it. We just try to make the best of what we have.
