The end user is the one who makes or breaks the mobile application.
The system is running fine today. Some of our customers experienced a period of intermittent availability…yesterday. We regret any inconvenience that this issue may have caused.
We want this site to keep customers as informed as possible. So we will publish estimates of service restoration whenever we have a reasonable estimate.
Our customers are entitled to their opinions and we respect that. When you have a passionate community of users, feelings are bound to run high.
We are working around the clock to take every possible step and take any new ones that we could to prevent this from happening again.
The root cause of the intermittent access was an error in the database cluster. Salesforce.com addressed the issue with the database vendor. By Tuesday afternoon, the system was running normally for all users.
We know that any time that the service is not available, it’s frustrating to our customers, and we sincerely apologize for that. We know that what our customers want is constant improvements in our service,...
We’re running like a thoroughbred now.
