This was a big win for us; Aycock has been an Eastern powerhouse for years, so we are very excited about winning this one.

We came out lacking intensity and made some fielding errors early, but we bounced right back and took the lead with some key hits.

This was a disappointing way to open our season. We didn’t play to our potential and (Roanoke Rapids) played a great defensive game. Hopefully we’ll learn from our mistakes and be ready for Friday.
