There’s been no rain, so the ground is hard-packed. You’re running on a hard surface like a road instead of a soft grassy one, so the times are faster.

It just keeps growing. This was the biggest and best yet.

Mary really stepped it up today and pushed the race. All of the girls up front have had incredible summers and I’ve been impressed with their work ethic.

The boys had a plan and it fell apart in the final 500 yards. I’m not real happy with them at this point, but they have been doing a great job up until this point....
