Where the wind made it difficult for several riders Saturday, today was nearly perfect for the runners.

The senior athletes are amazing, with a very positive outlook. They have never lost their desire to be physically fit and the ones that slipped are gaining it back.

Frank is such an inspiration. I just hope I can walk when I’m his age.

The participation was increased by about 50 people and we staged some very competitive events.

Interest was high this year because people know the state games are coming here for the next three years. Our closing banquet is also reserved to capacity.

We’ve been very successful. The summer season is too hot and rainy. We are going to try and make it once a month next year instead of every other month.
