I expected to win the pole vault, and I expected to do well in the triple jump, but I didn’t think I was going to win.

I did not do well today on my bench. But the state meet is still a month away. The important thing is to place in the top three.

I’m a little better (this year). Not as much as I hoped to be, but I am a little better.

They tricked me. I thought I was going over at 10-6. That’s OK, though.

I guess I should try to clear 11 first. But I’m aiming for 11-6 at the states.
