When we first came out, there were a lot of people, especially in England, who wanted to fight us.

When that kind of stuff happens, especially when you’ve never had anything, you don’t really even know what it is.

It’s tough to answer. All I know is we worked really hard to get ahead, and everything that people think we had, we didn’t.

If we write something that is undeniably great, then in the long term it doesn’t really matter what everyone says now.

These songs have definitely pushed all of our abilities. I felt like we had to find something that would make people listen to the songs more and not focus on the ‘sound.
