I’m extremely happy to come out of Hatboro-Horsham with a win. We’re coming off of two big losses this week. This is a big win for our program. It’s a great rebound game for us.

Owen J Roberts is a strong, strong team. They dominated the midfield and caused a lot of defensive pressure on our part and a lot of offensive pressure on theirs.

He definitely has the hot hand right now. He’s booming with confidence. He’s so determined to not lose; he’s willing himself to make these saves.

Twenty-some shots is a tremendous game, offensively. For them not to score a goal, you have to hand it back to our kids; they put up such a great defensive effort.

They had taken 20 shots but they hadn’t scored so we were right in it.

They came out and they took it to us but we were not going to crack. We had a lot of confidence; we would not let them beat us; it wasn’t going to happen.

Playing the state champion-that’s exciting; that’s what you want. They [Henderson] are just a perennial powerhouse year in and year out, they’re the team to beat.

We’re really enjoying the role of the underdog.

Our coaching philosophy at Council Rock is that you should watch each other’s back, and support one another. We’re always preaching that to the kids. It’s great to see this in action outside the field...

My guys just wanted the ref to blow the whistle. They wanted a piece of that team so badly.

You can’t lose to a team twice and expect to win the league.
