I think all you can ask for is to have a chance at the end of the year. A lot of great cars still have a chance and we’ve got to earn it every week.

It looks like he’s OK.

Maybe we just like winners, … We hope some of that will carry over to the Redskins.

We certainly accomplished a lot this year. We were 6-10 last year, and the facts speak for themselves this year. We got a lot of good things done.

I have some feelings [about the offense], and I think everybody that watched us could probably draw some conclusions, too. But I think until the bullets start flying you’re not going to really know. The...

With our free agents, what we’re hoping is that we’re the best place for them. Sometimes you get forced into letting them look. Hopefully in our case, they want to be with us. If somebody...

Their defense is tough. We know it’s going to be stacked against us, but at least we have the opportunity and the chance.

Ray really looks like a stroll in the park. He looks like he could do it the rest of his life.

[Coach Joe Gibbs said he believes the Redskins have ample playmakers among the wide receivers, although Taylor Jacobs and James Thrash have been silent as well.] I think we’ve got other people. You’re right. If...

Initially, the [trainers] that were here said it still felt tight and everything, so that was good, … We’ll just have to wait and see. It might be we have to wait overnight.

People who enjoy what they are doing invariably do it well.

Well, you certainly have to give them a lot of the credit. Let’s put it that way.

That concerns me a lot, … When we don’t play smart football, that really concerns you.

I know he’s disappointed not making more of an impact, not playing more, … It’s something we just have to work our way through. I think our defensive schemes are trying to use all of...

I always think it’s ultimately my responsibility. I always start with myself. I haven’t done a good job if we play a game like that. . . . You tell them, ‘Here’s the good, here’s...

It was one of those nights where everything went our way.

Sometimes just getting out of the pocket and getting rid of the ball can be the biggest play of the game. As I’ve said many times, a quarterback’s biggest play is when it’s not there....

It’s a huge deal anytime you get in the playoffs. We showed guts and determination. I feel humbled and really thankful to get in. It was a hard-fought game and I was just thrilled to...

Right now, for anybody in this organization — I would hope in the entire town — to be focused on anything other than Philly would be ridiculous. We’re getting ready to play the most important...

I can promise you there are going to be some great players that come out of this draft from the fifth [round] down. Those are where the home runs are. Could we be the team...

We’d like to see Patrick continue to make the real good plays he’s made and eliminate the bad ones, … We need to be efficient.

But if they didn’t think it was a joke, or if anybody took it the wrong way other than a joke, when you make a mistake like that, you’ve got to apologize. So I apologize...

When are we going to start getting it done? I don’t know. I know we’re here for the long haul. So, at some point, we’ve got to start getting it done if we’re going to...

When he played last year, personnel-wise we weren’t as good as we are now.

I think we realized what was at stake,

That was a tough assignment there. That kind of tells you the reason why people fight so hard for home-field advantage. That was a tough environment today, and that’s the way it’s supposed to be.

To Mark’s benefit, … I think he’s been really consistent with his play since we started back this year. I think he’s been confident and sure.

He’s been real consistent with his play since we started back this year, … He’s been confident and sure. … What I’m looking towards is somebody to really establish themselves as a quarterback, take over...

He’s just been outstanding,

We’re all working hard to try to improve it in any way in the league and particularly officiating is a big deal, … I think we’ve got very professional people there, and they work hard...

If we lose the game, we’re not going anywhere. So my mind-set is on one thing, Philadelphia. That’s the way I feel about it.

If you were to draw it up, I would say the best way to win the game is to move the ball ourselves and keep them off the field.

He’s extremely physical, if you ask him, he’s going to pick an inside running play.

In times of biggest change, if you can keep your head and be the smartest, you may get a jump over everybody else. It’s a challenge, but it’s an opportunity, too.

[If the Redskins have clearly defined one thing about themselves, it’s that they are indeed tough. This is a team that, if nothing else, is bitterly difficult to beat. In that respect, their 3-1 record...

I do like that fact that the bye is in the middle of the season. I think that’s the best place to have it. I like that once we get past the [season-opening] Monday night...

I’m looking for someone to establish himself as our quarterback.

This is what you call a nightmare,

We’re going to miss him terribly.

Mark both weeks has been real competitive, [he] jumps in there,

Right now we’re in a precarious situation, … One thumb, and now we’ve got two, so that’s not going to work out.

You hate to see him go through something like this, … and we have to go through it, so it’s a tough deal. But I think we’ve just got to deal with it. His injury...

He responded. He looked like he made plays. That was good for us and it was good for him.

It’s something I needed to do.

We fought hard all day and kept slugging, … I was proud of our guys because they’ve got great heart. They found a way to win the ballgame.

You never know what’s going to happen, but our goal is to keep everything together. We have a lot to do trying to get ready for next year and continuing to add to our team...

I hate to kind of lay it on Danny, … but it’s Danny’s deal, and I’m going to support him any way I can.

If we go to free agency without a CBA, I would say very few teams are going to be in play and be active. If you do have a CBA, there are going to be...

Keeping a team healthy is a huge deal,

I am looking for somebody to really establish themselves as the quarterback, to take over and take off with the team,
