It’ll be a dead issue I’m sure in a few days.

He never even looks,

It’s nice to get the win before starting on a long road trip.

We take it in stride. It’s Toronto. All the fans want to win. They haven’t had a Cup in years and we want to win too.

He just lays it there and it’s always in the right place and always just the right speed. I’m very fortunate to have a partner like him.

He likes to play physical, as you all saw, … Obviously, you don’t want to see anyone get hurt, but the kid is trying to win a job. You can’t hold him accountable for finishing...

Lets face it, we need all the points we can get, so these two game are important … we’d like to finish up strong before the break.

Tomas is a great player and one of our core guys. I think it was a great move to lock him up.

We had 1:15 … 1:20, so we knew, ‘Let’s be patient here, let’s wait for the right play’ … We moved the puck around and got lucky. I got a clear shot.

You guys (the media) put a lot of pressure on him, that’s for sure. But he’s going to be a good player in this league for a long time.

They’re a battling team. They’ve got a gritty coach. They played hard. They try to play spoiler or whatever. Guys never quit in this league. It’s never a given that you’re going to get two...

If you guys didn’t mention it, I wouldn’t have known. I have a one-in-81 chance. Obviously, everyone would love to go, but it’s not possible.

We knew,

We’ve had a tough couple of weeks here. We needed a win here to get our confidence going. We can have fun over Christmas now.

Obviously it is a failure for everyone. It’s on all of us. I’m sure John (GM Ferguson) will figure out what needs to be done and tweak it as he sees necessary. But it’s a...

He’s the biggest thing that has happened to Canadian hockey, and for him to get his name trashed through mud is pretty sad. But he will come out clean on the other side.

He always does. Good players can do that, and he’s one of those guys.

The season is a failure. You only get so many opportunities to play for a Stanley Cup.

It’s going to be exciting. It’s certainly a bonus. I wasn’t expecting it. Obviously, everyone wants to go over there and play. With the chance to go over there, I’m a lot more excited. It’s...

I could always shoot it hard,

(The Olympics) are not even on my mind,

It has no bearing on what we do here. You feel for him, getting his name trashed.

There were a lot of comments and a lot of things were said, and the only thing I asked for was time to confer with my teammates on it, … But obviously a vote was...

We’ve got to do a better job on the power-play. Those are key situations and when we don’t produce we don’t win.

You have to score on those opportunities. We didn’t and it came back to haunt us.

That’s embarrassing. If he needs a foursome, he should call us. After all, he’ll never see the ice once the playoffs start.

Tonight we started fast, caught them flat and got a big lead and never looked back after that.

The right channels are being pursued now,

The pretty boys were working for us tonight.
