This was one of his strongest games all year long, at both ends of the rink. He made some really solid plays in our end, along the boards. And when you do that, a lot...

We played a really strong first period and it was 0-0. I don’t know if we lost our legs because we definitely found them in the third. I’m not sure what it was. They outplayed...

If this was a playoff game, he could play. It’s not serious.

In any league, to come back from a two-goal deficit is a challenge. The effort was good and I didn’t think the execution was bad. We just stuck to it and came back.

As far as the skill and quickness, I saw some things that I liked. He was able to get into some holes.

We generated zero chances in the first. Nothing. I believe we’ve got a better offensive team than we’ve shown the past two games here.

Obviously, it took Jason a little bit of time to get his groove but I like the way he’s been playing. We’re going to need him to play that strong and even better in the...

We’re looking at getting him 50 games, plus the playoffs. He didn’t even play 50 last year combined with the playoffs (Flaherty played 48 total), that’s why I’ve been careful with his playing time and...

It was a typical Toronto-Manitoba game. It was hard fought from start to finish.

Playoffs are a different ball game.

Three wins by 1-0 scores — obviously, our goaltending has been solid.

A win is a win, but the guys weren’t happy — they would have preferred to do it in regular time. It’s a big win for us and I liked a lot of parts to...

Hopefully, he’ll be fresh as a rose.

They took the lead, and we just didn’t stop. Even though it was a 2-1 game, it was one of the more entertaining games of the year. Both teams played with a lot of courage.

We played with the urgency and desperation that the situation demanded. We scored two and that was an improvement for us.

We’re going to take that on a day-to-day basis, it depends on how the groin reacts. He’s improved every day that I’ve seen him. (Tuesday) night was his best game so far. Obviously, he’s got...

We should be geared up for that final stretch and we should go into the playoffs with a good rhythm here.

Flats is the guy and everybody knows that.

There’s no game tonight if Flats is not sharp. You have to be honest with the performance he put together here. Wade Flaherty was the difference. I’ve challenged him a little bit lately and he...

Obviously, if we lose Flats, we’ve lost a big part of our team. There’s a lot of speculation right now. Who knows what’s true and what’s not true. We’ll just have to take it in...

You shouldn’t need a carrot. There are eight, nine teams right now that are in a tight pack and we’re right up there with them.

Anybody’s who watched any hockey in the last 10, 15 years knows that (Keane) doesn’t go often, but when he does he’s pretty good at it.

That was a big momentum shift. To give up that goal really, really hurt.

We’re not quite sure what they’re going to do, but they’re going to let us know (today). Somebody is coming back.

It should have been obvious to everybody that Vancouver was going to look to get a little bit more depth at that position. Knowing Wade, I know he’s going to react like a professional.

That’s fair to say. He’s got some upside and he really helped us against the best team in the league. Hopefully, he can keep it going for us.

The other five guys buckled down.

We’ve already made the decision. Most teams put five, but we’re going to put six.
